Novak Djokovic has been hunting for this spot ever since he became number 3. Nadal is currently only 250 points ahead of Nadal. If they both win their matches in Hamburg, they will meet in the semifinals and the winner of that match will be the number 2. Nadal says that he expects to lose, although I would have to disagree. On hard court you can bet I would think that Djokovic would come out on top, but on clay Nadal still has a record of 103 wins to 2 losses. Although Nadal's recent loss may have caused him to lose some confidence, Nadal isn't the type of player who can lose it all that easily. In my opinion this is Nadal's match, but I doubt that he will be able to hold down the number 2 spot for much longer. Being only 25 this came as a huge shock to many fans. The only explanation is that she wanted to go out on top of the rankings. Although she seems to be pretty sure that she isn't going to change her mind, I would definitely guess that this is some sort of mid-life crisis.
